What education do you need? 

To do this job, you need to be registered with the NCCP as an Electrical Engineer and hold evidence of completion of a core set of four professional electives as specified by NCCP guidelines. These four professional electives must include courses such as Computer-Aided Drafting, Electric Power Systems Analysis, Electrical Metering and Control, and Mathematics for Electrical Engineering. You will also need to be registered with the NCCP as a Certified Safety Professional.
